For You

For those whose voice has been silenced and story has gone untold, for the unseen, the misunderstood, and the silently suffering, for the abandoned, the grieving, and those chained to the wounds of their past, the ones reliving memories that won’t die and those with survival patterns held so tightly, their bodies can’t forget, the depressed, the anxiety-ridden, the barely hanging on, and the ones who can’t remember what joy feels like, for the battle-weary, the weak, and the weighed down, for the outcasts, the outsiders, and the rejected…I see you. I hear you. I understand you…because I’ve been you.

My art is as much for you, as it is for me. I pray you can find that flicker of Hope in my story and my art, because the One who guides me to create, Who is healing me and renewing my spirit day by day, can guide and heal you as well. The YEARS of pain and suffering I endured were not wasted, and neither are yours. YOU have a purpose. Will you let Him reveal it to you?

Why not tether to the One who has you? It might be one heck-of-a wild ride, but I promise you, your Heavenly Father will never leave or forsake you. When you can’t see a way, He can, doing the impossible and working all things together for the good of those who love Him!

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
